He will never abandon us, no matter how difficult life gets. There are many benefits to reciting Surah Duha. Some of these benefits are mentioned below:

3) Reciting this Surah protects us from depression and despair by reminding us that Allah is always with us.
4) This Surah also increases our taqwa (fear/piety of Allah).

Why is It Important to Recite Surah Duha

Surah Duha is the 93rd chapter of the Quran. It was revealed in Makkah and has 11 verses. The recitation of Surah Duha has many benefits.

Some of these benefits are mentioned below: 1) It helps remove fear and anxiety: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “There is no disease that Allah has sent down except that He also sent down a cure for it” (Sahih Bukhari).

And he also said, “Recite du-haa [Surah Duha], for indeed it is a cure from sicknesses” (Ibn Majah). 2) It increases one’s provision and wealth: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever recites du-haa [Surah Duha] every morning will have his needs met by Allah” (Ibn Majah).

And he also said, “There is nothing more beloved to me than to recite du-haa [Surah Duha] when I wake up in the morning” (Ahmad).

How Can I Incorporate Surah Duha into My Daily Life

Surah Duha has 94 verses and it is the 93rd sura of the Qur’an. The title “Duha” means “after sunrise” or “the forenoon”. This sura was revealed in Medina after the Migration to Medina.

It is a Madani surah. This Surah takes its name from v. 3, wherein occurs the word duha (forenoon). It is generally agreed that this Surah was revealed soon after Al-Isra’, though some hold that it was sent down during the early part of the Prophet’s residence at Madinah, while others maintain that it belongs to a later period.

The first view appears to be more correct inasmuch as Sayyidina ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud has related that this Surah used to be recited by Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) every morning (Bukhari, Muslim). According to another tradition, whenever Gabriel used to come to Allah’s Messenger (PBUH), he would recite this Surah before him (Tirmidhi). According to yet another report, on one occasion when Gabriel came and found Allah’s Messenger lying down on his back due illness, he recited this very Surah and then went away saying nothing more than: “O Muhammad! Live in fear of Allah!”

Thereupon Allah’s Messenger called out aloud: “Gabriel has just now visited me with a message from my Lord which so much pleased me that I cannot express my joy fully.” Ibn Kathir adds: This Hadith establishes beyond doubt that whoever desires complete guidance must pay special attention to those things which please his Master most; for no matter how excellent an act may be in itself, unless it meets with His Good Pleasure, its reward will remain incomplete.

Conclusion

In the Surah Duha, Allah reassures the Prophet Muhammad that He has not abandoned him. The surah was revealed during a time when the Prophet was feeling low and discouraged. In it, Allah reminds the Prophet of His blessings and His love for him.

He also tells the Prophet not to be too hard on himself, and to have faith that Allah will help him through whatever challenges he faces.
