Peace and blessings be upon our Master and Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his companions. This is the second part of a two-part series on the virtues of Surah Taghabun. In the first part, we discussed the general virtues of this surah. In this second part, we will focus on the specific virtues of this surah. Surah Taghabun is the 64th surah of the Qur’an and it consists of 18 verses. It was revealed in Madinah and its name is derived from the word “taghabun” which means “loss” or “great loss”. The main theme of this surah is the hereafter and the Day of Judgment. It contains a warning for those who disbelieve in the hereafter and a consolation for the believers. Surah Taghabun is the 64th chapter of the Quran. It was revealed in Medina and contains 18 verses. The name Taghabun comes from the word “taghbun” which means “loss”. This Surah was revealed at a time when the Muslims were facing a lot of persecution. They had lost many of their loved ones and their properties. They were feeling very helpless and hopeless. But in this Surah, Allah gives them hope and reassurance. He tells them that those who have lost anything in this world will gain much more in the hereafter. Allah also promises them that He will never let the disbelievers have any portion in His Paradise. This Surah is a great source of comfort for the Muslims in times of hardship. It reminds us that everything happens for a reason and that Allah is always with us.
