Wankhede Stadium is located in Mumbai and has a capacity of 45,000 spectators. It was built over 37 years ago and since then it has hosted numerous international matches across all formats including Test matches, ODIs as well as T20Is.

Some notable moments at Wankhede Stadium include Sunil Gavaskar’s record-breaking 36th Test century against West Indies in 1978/79 season, Sachin Tendulkar’s maiden ODI century against Australia in 1998/99 season as well as Joginder Sharma’s last over heroics which helped India win 2007 ICC World Twenty20 trophy against Pakistan.
