He died six days later from his injuries. His autopsy report showed that he had gunshot wounds to the chest, pelvis, and thigh. He also had multiple bruises and abrasions consistent with being hit by gunfire.
The coroner ruled his death a homicide. The Notorious B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace, was also gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles, California on March 9, 1997. Who was King Von Autopsy?
On January 6, 2021, King Von was shot and killed in Atlanta, Georgia. He was 26 years old. Von was born Dayvon Bennett on October 3, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois.
His father was a drug dealer and his mother was a schoolteacher. Von dropped out of high school in the 11th grade. He began dealing drugs at age 16.
In 2012, he was arrested for armed robbery and sentenced to three years in prison. He was released on parole in 2014. In 2016, Von started rapping under the name “King Von.”
His first mixtape, “Levon James,” came out that year. It included the single “Beat Up The Block,” which became popular on social media. In 2019, Von signed with Lil Durk’s record label, Only the Family Entertainment LLC.
That year, he released his second mixtape,”Grandson Vol. 1.” His third mixtape,”Welcome to O’Block,” came out in 2020; it included the singles “Took Her to the O” and “Why He Told.”
